OVERVIEW
This conference is jointly provided by the University of Colorado College of Nursing Office of Continuing Nursing Education and the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. This symposium focuses on updated diagnoses and treatments of infectious diseases. It includes didactic presentations with audience participation, small group lectures and case presentations. The goal of the course is to have participants leave with a skill set that will improve their clinical practice related to infectious diseases.

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  

A Continuing Nursing Professional Development certificate will be available from the conference platform (Lecture Panda) immediately following the conference.

Pharmacists and Pharmacy Professionals
Pharmacy (CPE Credit) 

The University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE).  

Physician Assistants, Physicians and APRNs 
Medicine (AAFP)

The AAFP has reviewed 2022 Bugs & Drugs Symposium and deemed it acceptable for up to 7.25 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 11/05/2022 to 11/05/2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

A Certificate of Attendance is available upon request.


REFUND POLICY

If you find you are unable to attend, please read this policy carefully.  

Our programs are priced to provide the best value possible for current healthcare CE. Because of this, it is important to provide registration opportunities to all those interested in attending within the capacity allowable.  

If you request cancellation by 5:00 pm on Friday, October 28, 2022, a refund will be issued less a $50.00 non-refundable processing fee.

No refunds will be granted after 10/28/22 for cancellation or non-attendance.

If the College of Nursing or School of Pharmacy must cancel the event, a refund minus handling fees will be granted to participants.

  • Early rate is effective through October 14, 2022, after that the rate increases to $275.

  • A video recording of the symposium will be available for those unable to attend on November 5th and will offer CE Credit. The recording will be available in late November.
